Hazelnut Community Bristol stands as the pioneering chapter of the Hazelnut Community Network.
Located in East Bristol, it is a church plant based around a vibrant community garden.
It also serves as a fertile ground for experimenting with many ideas that have influenced the Hazelnut Community Network.
We hope you can visit - please see our upcoming events below
“It was beautiful to see my kids working as a team outdoors. The entire time had such a warm vibe.” Kath Smith
Hazelnut Bristol
We are a welcoming community that loves gardening, fire pits, eating together, praying together, deep discussion, creativity, and connecting with the local community. We are also a community that is concerned about ecological breakdown and put learining from and caring for creation at the centre.
Location: Garden at St. Anne’s Church St Leonard's Rd, Eastville, Bristol BS5 6JN
We meet every Sunday from 3pm-5pm rain or shine. And on Thursdays from 1pm-3pm.
A couple helpful points if you want to visit:
All are welcome you don’t need to have any gardening experiance
We meet outside so dress appropriatly
If the weather is rainy or cold we meet in the church. But we try and be outside as much as possible.
We are a Christian community that prays together. We also have members that are not Christians and all are made to feel welcomed.

About our community
Gather
We gather around Creator, Creation, and community. This means we are a Christian worshiping community that is deeply connected to the earth and each other. We grow food together and give it away to the community. If you are in the Bristol area you are welcome to join us! Click on the events tab to find out about our gatherings.
Grow
We are a community that grows together. We grow veg and flowers with the commitment to give away at least 50% of what we grow back into the community. We are a part of ‘The Growing Collective” a network of growing projects, together we make up a patchwork of land across the UK that is growing and giving away food! We aim to grow with sustainable, no-dig methods. We welcome anyone to come along no matter what your experience level.
