The concept is a simple one. Let’s reconnect with the earth and sacrament by growing wheat for communion bread. The name ‘One Bread’ comes from communion liturgy where it says ‘All Though we are many, we are one body, because we all share in one bread.’ In 2022 we are aiming to grow wheat across Bristol diocese. Churches that are urban, rural, liberal, conservative, traditional, high church, low church, and everything in between! The wheat that is grown will be a symbol of our unity and care for creation in a time of climate emergency. We encourage you to grow wheat in your community as well!
