On Sundays, at 3 we gather as a Hazelnut community. Though we have gone into lockdown we will still gather as a community over zoom. Our aim is to learn together and grow together. We will do this in two ways. Firstly, we will have a chat with an expert that will help us think about growing and learning together. Secondly, we will share in evening prayer together. The topic of this session will ‘Hazelnut values: Construction’  

We want to build toward a new and hopeful future. Exploring, learning, and modeling new ways to live in a world badly affected by our choices. We will be creating and constructing from recycled, rejected, and sustainable materials. Making beauty out of the discarded pieces of a throwaway culture (From our Hazelnut Values page).

Together in this session, we’ll learn more about the realities of some destructive wasteful habits of modern ‘Western’ living, and share our stories and ideas about constructive ways to reuse, recycle and upcycle in our daily lives.
