Endings: autumn wreaths

Part of our rhythm of work, community, and worship is listening to the earth. As the beds become barer and the busy production of summer goes away we will reflect on how natural it is for life to have endings. As part of this, we will make autumn wreaths!

We Look forward to welcoming you to our garden! If it’s your first time with us there are a couple of helpful pieces of information.

  • We garden together, but no expertise is needed and we have gloves and tools for you. You can also come along and enjoy the garden without getting your hands dirty which is fine as well.

  • When it’s wet or cold we have indoor space, so do still come along

  • We serve coffee and tea and there are toilets on site.

  • On Sundays, we say prayers together after our work. We are also an open and welcoming community so please feel free to come along and engage as you feel comfortable.

We do a number of different things on a Sunday and you can choose how you want to be involved. Here are some examples.

  • Weeding

  • Planting flowers and veg

  • Creative craft

  • Play catch

  • Bring a folding chair and enjoy the garden

  • Evening prayer

Any questions please email John at office@hazelnutcommunityfarm.com

Hope to see you then!
